SELLER AUTHENTICATION GUIDELINES
A smooth, transparent process for trusted luxury fashion resale. We accept only preowned or almost new, with or without tags designer fashion clothing and footwear. At Preloved Mode, we ensure every item listed meets our strict standards for authenticity, quality, and condition. These guidelines help sellers understand what we accept, how we authenticate, and how to prepare items for a successful listing.

1. ITEMS WE ACCEPT
   We accept authentic luxury items from verified designers and quality items from middle range fashion retailers, you find the list of the brands in the section Designers, including clothing, footwear only. All items must All items must be 100% authentic, in clean, sellable condition, free from strong odours and animal hair, free from structural damage.

2. ITEMS WE DO NOT ACCEPT
   To protect our buyers and brand partners, we do not list any accessories and the handbags at all. We will refuse any

Counterfeit or replica items

Items with altered or missing tags, labels, serial numbers

Items with unverifiable provenance

Items with excessive wear or damage

Fast‑fashion or non‑luxury brands, if not exclusive mid tier fashion retailer

3. HOW TO PREPARE YOUR ITEM
   To speed up authentication and listing:

Clean the item gently

Photograph in natural light

Include close‑ups of:

Logos, labels, serial numbers

All item front and back

Any close up of the details

Provide original receipts, dust bags, or certificates if available

4. WHAT HAPPENS DURING AUTHENTICATION
   Every item goes through our 4‑step process:

Material & craftsmanship inspection

Final condition & quality approval

If an item fails any step, it will not be listed.

5. WHAT HAPPENS IF AN ITEM FAILS AUTHENTICATION
   If we cannot verify authenticity:

The item is rejected

You are notified immediately

The item is returned to you

Repeat submissions of counterfeit items may result in account restrictions
