These Vendor Terms (“Terms”) govern your relationship with Preloved Mode (“we”, “us”, “our”) as a seller on our curated multivendor fashion platform. By registering as a vendor, listing products, or engaging with our platform, you agree to these Terms. Our general Terms of Use are paramount.
- Vendor Eligibility
To sell on Preloved Mode, you must:
Be legally able to enter into contracts. You need to be minimum 18+ years old and the owner of the product, or the bank account/money.
Provide accurate business and contact information, in the vendor registration on User
Own or have full rights to the items you list.
Agree to our editorial standards and platform conduct.
We reserve the right to approve, reject, or remove vendors at our discretion.
- Product Listings
Vendors must:
Accurately describe each item, including brand, size, condition, and provenance.
Upload high-quality, original images. Styled or editorial shots are encouraged.
Disclose any flaws, alterations, or archive status.
Avoid counterfeit, plagiarised, or misrepresented goods. See our strict counterfeit policy on IP Policy
Listings may be edited for clarity, tone, or campaign styling. Final editorial control rests with Preloved Mode. You find the useful guides here.
- Pricing & Promotions
Vendors set their own prices, inclusive of platform commission of 20 %.
Promotional campaigns may be offered at our discretion. Participation is optional but encouraged.
Prices must reflect the item’s condition, rarity, and editorial value
- Order Fulfilment & Shipping
Vendors must ship items within 3 business days of order confirmation. You find more about Shipping.
Tracking must be provided. The buyer’s tracking is a part of their Account. Items must be securely packaged.
Preloved Mode holds payment in escrow until delivery is confirmed.
Failure to ship may result in order cancellation and vendor suspension.
- Pay outs
Funds are released to vendors a day only after the item is shipped and confirmed delivered.

Commission rates of 20 per cent and any extra fees are outlined in your onboarding agreement.
- Content Rights
By listing on Preloved Mode, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:
Display and promote your listings. Check our Terms of Use
Use your product images and descriptions in campaigns, newsletters, and social media.
Apply editorial styling, captions, or layout enhancements.
You retain ownership of your content but agree not to reuse Preloved Mode’s editorial assets elsewhere without permission. Please see IP Policy.
- Conduct & Compliance
Vendors must:
Respond promptly to buyer queries and platform communications.
Honour all sales and shipping commitments.
Avoid abusive, fraudulent, or misleading behaviour.
Comply with UK consumer law and platform policies.
Violations may result in suspension, removal, or legal action.
- Returns & Disputes
Returns are permitted only for materially misdescribed items.
Vendors must cooperate with return investigations and refund processes.
Repeated disputes or unresolved claims may affect vendor status, but we also penalise any troublemaker seller in this way, raising numerous claims.

- Intellectual Property
Vendors must not:
Upload copyrighted content without permission.
Mimic Preloved Mode’s editorial tone, styling, or branding for external use.
Use platform assets outside of approved campaigns.
We actively monitor for infringement and reserve the right to remove content or pursue legal remedies. Check our IP Policy.
- Termination
Preloved Mode may suspend or terminate vendor accounts for:
Breach of these Terms
Repeated disputes or poor conduct
Infringement or misuse of platform assets
Inactivity or non-responsiveness
Vendors may request account closure at any time. Your account and the personal data will be erased within 24 hours. See more on Privacy.
- Amendments
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in law, platform structure, or editorial standards. Updates will be posted with a revised “Effective Date.”
